TidWeb / Website Care

Your website, looked after. $59 a month.

Updates, backups, security, hosting and a real person to email when something breaks. No lock-in, no ticket queue, and no surprise invoices.

Why it matters

A website is not furniture. It needs maintaining.

WordPress, its plugins and its themes update constantly. Skip those updates and a site quietly becomes a security hole. Apply them blindly and a plugin conflict can break a contact form for weeks without anyone noticing.
!

Security holes open quietly

Most WordPress sites are not hacked through clever targeting. They are found by automated scanners looking for one outdated plugin, and the owner finds out when Google flags the site.

?

Things break without a sound

A form that stops sending, a payment button that silently fails, a page that breaks on mobile after an update. Nobody reports it. The enquiries just stop arriving.

B

Backups only matter beforehand

Every site owner who lost their website had been meaning to sort out backups. We keep weekly backups with a 30-day history, and we test that they restore.

The honest boundary

What Care covers, and what gets quoted

Maintenance protects what you have. Building something new is a different job, and pretending otherwise is how agencies quietly resent their own clients. Anything outside the left column is quoted and approved first.

Questions

Website Care, answered plainly

Our Website Care plan is $59 a month, billed quarterly at $177. Across the wider market you will see anywhere from $30 to $500 a month: the very cheapest tiers are automated update services with ticket-queue support, while $150 and above usually buys included content hours and priority response. Ours sits at the low end on price and the human end on service.

Managed hosting, WordPress core, plugin and theme updates, weekly backups with a 30-day history, uptime and security monitoring, bug fixes and troubleshooting, content updates to text, images and business information, one business day response, and a monthly health report written in plain English.

Included. There is no separate hosting bill on a Care or Digital Growth plan. If you are on a one-time build with no plan, we configure hosting on your own account instead and hand it over to you.

Yes, completely. Your domain is registered in your name on your own email address, and you hold full administrator access from day one. We are listed only as the technical contact.

No. Care is billed quarterly and you can stop at the end of any cycle. If you leave, we export the full site — files and database — and migrate it to whichever host you choose, free, within 30 days.

Send them over and we do them. There is a fair-use allowance of about an hour a month which rolls over up to three hours, but we do not run a stopwatch or make you count requests. If your needs genuinely outgrow the plan we will suggest an upgrade rather than a surcharge.

New pages, new sections, plugin integrations, landing pages, speed optimisation projects, full redesigns, new websites, online stores and custom functionality. Anything outside the plan is quoted and approved before we start — you will never get an invoice for something you did not know would be billed.

Often, yes. We start with a free 20-minute review, because inheriting somebody else’s work carries real risk. If it needs deeper investigation we offer a full written audit for $150, credited back if you go ahead. If the site is genuinely beyond maintaining we will say so and quote a rebuild instead.

Monthly as standard, with critical security patches applied as soon as they are released. Updates are checked after applying, not fired blindly, because a plugin conflict that breaks a contact form is worse than a slightly older plugin.

Monitoring alerts us, and we investigate immediately. If a recent change caused it we roll back from the most recent backup. Response is within one business day as standard, and materially faster in practice for anything that takes a site offline.
