TidWeb builds and maintains WordPress sites for businesses across the United States. Our longest-running US clients are in California — two dental practices in Fresno that we designed, rebuilt and still maintain — and we have shipped work for contractors and studios on the East Coast and in the Midwest.
We are a small senior team based in Pakistan, working with US clients remotely. That arrangement saves you a meaningful amount of money, but it only works if the practical things are handled properly: overlap hours, payment paperwork, accessibility risk, and hosting that is actually fast for American visitors. This page covers all four honestly, including the parts that are genuinely a trade-off.
What we build for US businesses
Everything is WordPress with Elementor Pro, which means you can edit your own copy, prices and images after handover without paying anyone a retainer for text changes. No proprietary builder, no platform you get locked into, no monthly fee just to keep the site online.
- Practice and service-business websites — dental, medical, legal, home services and trades. Five to fifteen pages, built around getting the phone to ring rather than winning design awards.
- WooCommerce stores — Stripe and PayPal, real shipping rules, tax handling, inventory that your team can actually manage.
- Redesigns and rescues — dated sites, sites that broke after a plugin update, and sites abandoned by a previous developer who never handed over access.
- Speed and Core Web Vitals work — usually on Elementor sites that ballooned to four or five megabytes and now fail on mobile.
The time zone question, answered honestly
This is the first thing most US clients ask, and it deserves a straight answer rather than a marketing one.
Pakistan runs at UTC+5 with no daylight saving. That puts us roughly nine hours ahead of US Eastern time and twelve ahead of Pacific. A standard Pakistani working day of 9am to 6pm lands between midnight and 9am on the East Coast — which is to say, almost entirely outside your working hours.
So we do not pretend to run on your clock all day. What we actually do is hold a late shift: 6pm to 10pm Pakistan time is 9am to 1pm Eastern, and 6am to 10am Pacific. That is a real four-hour window every weekday where you can get us live on a call or a message thread. Anything outside it gets answered the following morning our time, which is still overnight for you.
In practice this works better than it sounds. You send feedback at the end of your day, we work on it during your night, and the revision is waiting when you open your laptop. Most clients tell us the turnaround feels faster than working with someone in their own city. The one thing it is genuinely bad for is unplanned, drop-everything phone calls at 3pm your time. If your project needs that, we are the wrong fit and we would rather say so now.
Accessibility is a real risk in the US, not a checkbox
The United States is the one market where website accessibility carries genuine legal exposure for ordinary small businesses. Thousands of ADA Title III lawsuits and demand letters are filed each year over websites, and they disproportionately target small service businesses with a public-facing site — restaurants, clinics, retailers, contractors.
The practical standard defendants are measured against is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Most Elementor sites fail it out of the box, usually on the same handful of things: colour contrast on buttons and light grey body text, images without alternative text, form fields with no associated labels, sliders and accordions that cannot be operated with a keyboard, and headings used for visual size rather than document structure.
We build to WCAG 2.1 AA by default on US projects rather than treating it as an upsell. That means contrast-checked palettes, real alt text, labelled forms, keyboard-navigable menus and a sane heading order. We are not lawyers and we do not sell legal certainty — no agency honestly can — but there is a large difference between a site built with accessibility in mind and one that fails on every automated scan.
Payment, contracting and paperwork
We invoice in US dollars. Payment is by bank transfer, Wise or Payoneer, and for smaller projects we can take card through an invoice link.
Because TidWeb is a foreign entity providing services performed entirely outside the United States, you generally will not be withholding US tax on our invoices, and the form your accountant will normally ask us for is a W-8BEN-E rather than a W-9. We keep one on file and will send it over on request. Your accountant should confirm what your specific situation requires — this is how it usually works, not tax advice.
Projects run on a fixed written scope with a fifty percent deposit and the balance on completion. Every project has a defined revision allowance written into the scope, so neither side ends up arguing about what “done” means.
Hosting and speed for a US audience
Where the site is built has nothing to do with where it is hosted, and this trips people up. A site built by a team in Pakistan and hosted in Frankfurt will feel slow to a customer in Texas — not because of the developer, but because every request is crossing an ocean.
For US clients we host on US infrastructure, in the region closest to where your customers actually are, and put a CDN in front of it so static files are served from an edge node near the visitor. On a typical small business site that difference alone is worth several hundred milliseconds on first load, which shows up directly in your Largest Contentful Paint score.
If you already have hosting you are happy with, we work with it. If you are on a reseller plan that a previous developer controls and will not release, we handle the migration and put the account in your name.
What it costs
Our pricing is quoted per project after a short discovery call, because two eight-page sites can differ in cost by three times over depending on custom functionality, integrations and how much content already exists.
What we can tell you is where the money goes. The things that genuinely move a quote are custom functionality, third-party integrations such as a booking or practice-management system, ecommerce complexity, and whether you have finished copy and photography or need us to work around placeholders. Page count matters far less than people expect.
We are meaningfully cheaper than a comparable US agency for the same standard of build. That is a straightforward consequence of cost of living, not a compromise on the work. We use fully licensed Elementor Pro and licensed plugins on every build, and you own every asset outright at handover.

Frequently asked questions
Can you work in my time zone?
Partly, and we would rather be honest about it. Pakistan is nine hours ahead of US Eastern and twelve ahead of Pacific. We keep a late shift from 6pm to 10pm our time, which is 9am to 1pm Eastern and 6am to 10am Pacific, and that is when you can reach us live. Outside that window, messages are answered the next morning our time, which is overnight for you. Most clients find the overnight turnaround is actually faster than working locally, but if your project needs unscheduled afternoon phone calls, we are not the right fit.
Do you make websites ADA compliant?
We build to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, which is the standard US courts and plaintiffs generally measure websites against. That covers colour contrast, alt text, labelled form fields, keyboard navigation and correct heading structure. No agency can promise legal immunity, and anyone who does is overselling, but a site built to that standard is in a very different position from one that fails every automated scan.
What tax forms do you provide for a US client?

Will my site be slow because you are in Pakistan?
